Katie Lovin, RYT-200

Teacher

Katie found Vinyasa yoga in 2017 in order to improve flexibility, mobility, and fitness. Along with health improvements, she also found a place for calm and mindfulness. She completed her yoga teacher training and started teaching as a Yoga Alliance RYT-200 in 2019.

Over the years, Katie has completed additional training in Yin and Restorative yoga and myofascial release. Her mission in teaching yoga and myofascial release techniques is to share her knowledge and experiences with others. She wishes to create a safe, non-judgmental, understanding atmosphere where people can find friends, community, and self-awareness, while improving their mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Katie is an educator and lifelong learner. She has a doctorate in math and teaches at Wake Technical Community College. She is passionate about education and the North Carolina Community College Mission.

In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, quilting,

knitting/crocheting, diamond painting, basket-weaving, and jewelry-making. She is an animal lover with 2 cat babies and a rescued beagle.

Katie’s core values are family, faith, loyalty, and integrity.
